Welcome to Sunday Matinee movie at the Historic Hawaii Theatre. The feature attraction is the film, "Bird of Paradise," with movie stars Jeff Chandler, Louis Jourdan, Debra Paget, and the hula staged by Iolani Luahine. A pre-show will feature the hula ladies of Pohai Souza with music by Pa'ahana from the Halekulani. Also, Ulalia Woodside, daughter of Leiana Woodside, a dancer in the film, will share memories of the movie as told by her mama.
